Brut de Béton production
Bruno Boussagol, artistic director of Brut de béton production and of The Diagonal of Chernobyl. Brut de béton production is a structure set up for conception, construction and execution of artistic productions sensitive to the human impact of societal issues in the world today. Since 1999 the compagny has worked a lot with Belarus, which has been (re)discovered through the book La Supplication written by Svetlana Alexievitch. For six years, Bruno Boussagol has particularly worked on this texts and each “season” a new performance, a new book, a new film or documentary have been born. He has used too to go to Belarus to create new artistic project. With him, four actors take part in The diagonal of Chernobyl : Christine Bard, Gaby Chervalier, Véronique Pilia et Nathalie Vannereau.

The Dramatic Belarus Theatre from Minsk – Belarus
Valéry Anisienka, artistic director from the theater, National Art Prize from Belarus and Tatiana Makhel, artist from Belarus Republic have taken part of the performance created by Bruno Boussagol in 2002 in Minsk. In april 2002, 2 actors from Brut de Béton and 18 actors from this theater have created a triligual version (russian, byelorussian and french) of La Supplication, which has been played in Minsk in front of Svetlana Alexievitch. Since this event, this version belong to the Minsk Theater repertoire. It uses to be played two times a month each year. 16 actors of this version will come in Chernobyl, then in Kyev in april and may 2006 with Brut de Béton, and six will participate in the creation in France in July 2006.

The collective Le Grand Chahut
With a focus on improvised, popular, contemporary music and jazz, and from original compositions and free and/or directed improvisation, the collective Le Grand Chahut is a mix about twenty musician of different formations : Grand Chahut Ensemble, L'Amarante, Burzic, Marquis Tsaw, La Chahuteuse Mobile, Le Noeud Logique, Trio Des Quilles, Mazette La Belle Chahute !
Fourteen musicians take part in La diagonale de Tchernobyl : Thérèse Bosc, Vincent Copier, Yannis Frier, Frédéric Galland, Nathalie Goutailler, Nicolas Lapierre, Lionel Malric, Yves Marceau, Anne Sophie Millet, Anne Montagard, Thomas Ostermann, François Perdriau, Sylvain Vast.

Pierre della Giustina, fine artist
After training at Paris Graduate School of Decorative Arts in 1988 Pierre della Giustina works at Les Martres–de–Veyre (Puy-de-Dôme, France). Since 1989 he has had his own exhibitions and has taken part in collective exhibitions (regularly at the SAGA – the international engravings and art books show in Clermont-Ferrand, in Aixe-sur-Vienne (contemporary biennale “Beyond the Body”). He also accepts public and private commissions and designs scenerery for theater productions (Footsbarn theatre, Les racines nées, Brut de Béton production and Cazulhina).
Pierre della Giustina is designing the bus which will be used as vehicle during the trip to Chernobyl but also as accommodation and scenery for the performance (this transformation will be finalize after the trip to Chernobyl, during the creation in Aurillac).
